Jacob is the Founder and the Lead Consultant of Javicom Company Limited. He is also an experienced expert in statistics, and his litigation work encompasses a wide variety of topics of a statistical nature. Prior to founding Javicom, Jacob has over 14 years of experience five of which have been spent as a consultant for various clients while 9 years were in employment at various institutions (Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research organization, Kenya Sugar Research Foundation, Strathmore University and Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology).
He obtained his PhD in Applied Statistics from Maseno University (School of Mathematics and Applied Statistics). Alongside his consultancy work, he is a lecturer in the department of Mathematics of Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.
Dr. Ong’ala has conceptualized and successfully delivered projects and programs in a number of areas including: Agricultural research projects; Data managements, Academic research supervisions and monitoring and evaluation. He is a team player possessing extensive experience in a multicultural work environment with proven capacity to mobilize, integrate and synthesize resources across disciplines. He possesses excellent analytical skills. Jacob has accomplished several research studies and presented papers in local and international conferences as well as published in refereed journal.
Dr. Calleb Olweny
Calleb is an accomplished Agricultural Scientist with 15 years of excellent and dedicated service as lead innovator of approaches geared towards increasing efficiency and resilience in agriculture and allied industries. Dr Olweny has a special interest in sustainable use and development of plant genetic resources. His managerial skills are anchored on training in Senior Management Course at Kenya School of Government. He has demonstrated visionary academic and research leadership.
Dr Olweny is holder of Doctor of Philosophy degree in Plant Breeding and Biotechnology from Makerere University, Master of Science degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Egerton University. As a research scientist, Calleb has been involved in; developing and conducting of appropriate research projects in sugarcane and sweet sorghum variety improvement programme; analyzing and scientifically assessing progeny in laboratory and field trials, selecting the best varieties using emerging genetic and biotechnological tools and using advanced and sophisticated molecular biology techniques to study and manipulate genes, including DNA transfer within or between species.
Dr Olweny currently is the Chairman Department of Plant, Animal and Food Sciences /Lecturer, School of Agricultural and Food Sciences, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST). Calleb is a prolific writer who has published extensively in peer reviewed journals and serves in several international review boards.
Ms. Scolastica Wambua
Scolastica Wambua is a gender and agribusiness expert with 11 years of experience in the agricultural and livestock sector. She holds a MSc. in Agribusiness and Trade and BSc. in Agribusiness Management. She has a wide experience in capacity building value chain actors on agribusiness entrepreneurial skills and gender. She has presented several papers in both national and international scientific conferences. She has also been involved several projects as a Principal investigator and objective leader. Some these include;

Dr Joyce Otieno
Dr Joyce Otieno is self-directed, action-oriented professional with over 30 years’ experience in education in the field of Mathematics and now particularly Applied Statistics. She has a Diploma in Education from Siriba Teachers’ Training College, a Bachelor of Education Science from Kenyatta University, an MSc and a PhD in Applied Statistics both from Maseno University.
Her work experience has been teaching in various institutions and currently at Maseno University. She has supervised several academic research and doing consultancy work for various organizations. Currently coupled with consultancy work, she is lecturing at Maseno University in the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science.
Her research interests include disease modelling, time series analysis and data crunching.
Dr Lawrence Obae Mose
Dr Lawrence Obae Mose is a guru in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation. He has over 30 years of experience in the field both at private and public sector around the globe. He has accomplished a number of M&E as well as baseline studies assignments.

Dr. Mose holds Doctorate in Development Economics. He also has vast experience in the Agricultural Economics.
